We have a budding artist on our hands! Mr.5 is wowing his teachers with his drawings at the moment…apparently, boys aren’t as quick to learn drawing skills in general as girls do. Not only can he remember a scene (for example, a train station & train) and then go home and draw it, he also is starting to draw in perspective (objects in the distance are smaller, etc).
Now I’m not one of those gloating parents..but if you can’t be openly proud about your kids’ achievements on your own blog, I don’t where you can! 😉
Here are some from the last few months, since just before he turned five.
A two-storey Sydney train, with graffiti on the windows
Dinosaur & baby
Murtle the turtle (resident pet at kinder)
Daddy, Mummy and Mr.5 in the rocket, ready to blast off (Mr.2 absent)
Mr.5 in a garden
Metro train going through train crossing in Hampton, Melbourne
Me in a garden
Metro train going through crossing with traffic lights overhead
Me in a garden with various happy insects
A fox playing, chasing two rabbits (one Mummy, one baby) who are not happy “because they’re about to be eaten by the fox”. The lines underneath the rabbits represent the bouncing movement of the rabbits!
Mr. Fix-it men (how cool are they)
Daddy (good ears, Daddy)
