Ah, it’s nice to see colour outside again.
Granted, most of the photos below were taken at our local garden shop today, but the streets are starting to fill with colour…and wonderful scents from new lavender and freesias growing wild on nature strips.
It was a beautiful sunny day, and my budding florist, Mr.5, was in his element, picking flowers and arranging them in little posies. He’s a visual kid – aesthetics are important. 🙂
And Mr.2 has this week started picking flowers for me too, telling me in a very serious, low voice, “this is for you” – holding up a yellow flower in his chubby fist.
He always chooses yellow.
My God, I could just eat them alive when they pick me flowers.
Melbournites, enjoy this sun while it lasts!
