I think my first post on this blog was about the vege patch we had just built and started. We now have veges, amazingly nothing really died and things are green and growing. Considering we don’t garden much, it’s really nice to see we’ve produced some veges that we can start eating. Definitely the preparation of the vege patch helped – newspaper, then pea straw, then good quality organic manure, soil and more pea straw on top. Here are some photos of how it looks now, the cherry tomatoes growing, and also the cos lettuce I picked today.
